Rachel and Brian were awesome to work with. Very helpful, knowledgeable and fast. Brian explained things very clearly and responds quickly to any questions. We had several estimates done and Rachel was the ONLY one to do a thorough inspection of our attic – she caught things that yes maybe others would have once they started the job but we wanted to know exactly what we were paying before we got started and didn’t want a bunch of added costs at the end. The install was quick and had a great crew working – on time, efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up. Very nice people and very easy to work with. 10/10 Highly recommend!

We met Brian Hetrick and Rachel Adamec strictly by accident. They were next door doing a roof job at our neighbor’s house. Brian came to our door with an armful of shingles that were on the ground. We had seen them, but were sure that the shingles belongeed to next door. Brian assured us that they were ours. That is our beginning. Brian came in and we talked. Same day a claim was submitted to our insurance. It was quickly approved. Brian and Rachel were available for questions, gave us many choices of shingles and designs shown in pictures on our house, great communication, and clean-up was perfect. Brian and Rachel are both dog lovers. Brian even brought his own dog over to meet our dog and us on the day of the installation. (with our approval, of course). Our roof turned out to have been damaged from the inside due to poor ventilation and improperly installed blown-in insulation by a previous owner. The wood decking had black mold on the under-side, and the insulation and rafters also had some darkening due to mold. Lake Erie Roofing Solutions carefully researched the causes and possible solutions, to find the best and most cost-effective way to make our house safe and healthy. They removed all the shingles, decking, and insulation. The rafters, made of good, sturdy wood, had less mold damage, but they still needed anti-mold cleaning and sealing with special mold-resistant paint. After that had dried overnight, they replaced the deck, shingles, insulation, and ventilation. They eliminated some vents that “short-circuited” the necessary air flow along the bottom of the decking. At all stages they explained what they proposed to do and why that would offer the best chance of solving our problem permanently. Their explanations were clear and supplemented by photographs inside and outside the house, and even taken by a drone! Their price was less than we had been fearing. They worked amazingly hard, with a large crew all day, and the owners even working overtime to finish the job promptly. They cleaned up carefully, using rolling magnets to find nails. We received a thorough, high-quality job at a fair price. Highest recommendation.
